SUPPORT CREW

As I sit back and reflect upon how far I have come since starting this blog and sharing my experiences I want to give recognition and appreciation to those that have motivated me and helped me along the way. You see, I cannot do this alone. I have special friends and co-workers around me that have made me who I am today.

They are the people that give me the inspiration to write and share my thoughts and words of encouragement. Take a look around you. Did you get where you are today on your own? What words, actions, and thoughts pushed you forward or in a new direction?

I just finished an Ironman with training covering six months. I have two very active kids that have some extra-curricular activity every day. Did my wife complain? No, (well maybe once)! She understood what it took for me to be successful and she supported me 100%. I could not have completed this event and challenge without her support.

Boss’s Day just passed not too long ago. I am by no means anyone’s boss. I am a support to many people within our company just as many people are a support to me. Together we are able to accomplish many things quickly and at a high standard. We are a support crew!

I do not want to take long to get to my point. I want to express to you that the things you work on every day and accomplish you do not do alone. You have a support crew. It could be your family, co-workers, your friend, a mentor, anything. If you want to be better, then surround yourself with a support crew that believes in you!

Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself. Place their agenda at the top of your agenda. Climb with them, be beside them!

One is too small of a number to achieve greatness!
